Figure 2
Model calculations for truncation errors with the maximum accessible Q range [equation (6) ] set to Qmax = 0.16 Å−1. This value is obtained from the maximum scattering of θmax = 0.03 radians from the Rekveldt setup (Rekveldt, 1996 ), but uses 1.2 Å neutrons in order to obtain a larger Qmax. The open (o) and closed (•) symbols are for the smeared G(r) and p(r) functions, respectively. The solid lines are the untruncated ones. The G(r) and p(r) functions are scaled such that p(r) normalizes to 1. (a) A 100 Å diameter sphere. (b) A 30 Å thick spherical shell with diameter of 100 Å. (c) A 10 Å thick cylindrical disk with a circular cross section of 100 Å in diameter. (d) A 100 Å long cylindrical rod with a circular cross section of 20 Å in diameter. |
