Most data collection frames are shaded by the steel support components of the pressure cell. These regions are excluded from the integration by means of dynamic masks. A partially shaded frame (top) and its corresponding mask (bottom) are shown. The masked region is black. Note that, in contrast to the frame shown in Fig. 1[link], the cell was at such an angle that the incident beam did not pass through a Be backing disk; therefore, no Be powder lines are observed. The narrow powder lines on this image derive from the tungsten gasket.
