The top graphics pane contains the diffraction pattern for the first input pattern (or another selected from the left-hand column) and the lower pane contains the current imported pattern. PolySNAP either looks in a specified directory and loads all the pattern files in it, or it waits for patterns to arrive as they are collected on a high-throughput data collection system
