X and Y rotor components for polyhedra in a fitted configuration at 473 K, relative to their orientations in the ideal [\beta] phase. As the temperature rises, the distribution of the rotations broadens. The polyhedra display more variation about the mean positions as RUM amplitude increases in the dynamic disorder.
