Polarized fluorescence spectra at the Se (left) and Br (right) K edges for each of the six crystal orientations. The plots represent the fluorescence intensity after normalization by the incident-beam intensity and by the counting time and after manual removal of outlier points which were due to monochromator glitches. Thus, all spectra are on the same scale, but they have been translated on the vertical axis for better visibility.
