Screen capture of the SXD2001 data-reduction graphical user interface. The top left-hand panel shows a time-integrated representation of the scattering collected by the six equatorial detectors looking from the moderator along the neutron beam, and clearly showing the Laue-like nature of the data collection. The bottom left-hand panel shows the scattering in one detector pixel as a function of neutron time-of-flight and with the orders of a Bragg reflection separated in time-of-flight. The pixel being displayed corresponds to the circled bright spot at the far left of the Laue plot above (i.e. at the high-angle edge of high-angle detector 1). The data are from a sample of SrF2, measured on SXD at 20 K.
