BNN synchrotron diffraction data for the 211 (cubic) and 104, and 122 and 030 (trigonal) reflections. Peak A is for the sample cooled rapidly at 513 K h−1; peak B is for the sample cooled at the medium rate of 333 K h−1; peak C is for the sample cooled slowly at 2 K h−1. The ordered hexagonal phase is shown in black, the disordered cubic phase is shown in blue, the combined observed data are shown in red and the Rietveld difference is shown in grey. The ordered phase can be seen to grow in a systematic way from the fast- to slow-cooled samples.
