Observed SANS (triangles) and SAXS (squares) scattering curves from the dilute phase of the composite sample. The dashed line is a guide line indicating the slope -4, and the full line is the best fit using equation (2)[link]. The inset displays the low-q region where the full line is a fit to the Guinier law. In this case, the measured SAXS data have been multiplied by a scale factor in order to match the SANS data. The vertical axis scale is thus in arbitrary units for SAXS, whereas it is in absolute units of cm−1 for SANS.
