SAXS data for the Pt nanoparticles synthesized in the aqueous PVP solution with a high PtCl4 concentration of 10 mg ml−1. The data were fitted (dashed curve) with a fractal model and an ellipsoid form factor. The dashed line indicates the characteristic power law scattering [I(Q) \propto Q^{-D}], with the fractal dimension D = 2.1. Also shown is the trivial scattering from the aqueous solution of 10 mg ml−1 PtCl4.
