In this example, the status bar at the bottom of the window has alerted the user that there is a problem with an item: the value of _exptl_absorpt_correction_type is not one of the dictionary-defined permitted values. The data-input wizard (on the right, called by double-clicking the item in the preprint window) provides a list of the permitted values, as well as links to the dictionary definition if required. The same information is accessible via the mouse-activated menu when working in the CIF window. The offending item is highlighted in the CIF window using a wavy underline.
