Figure 6
The four best models of the F45 fragment obtained in a series of ten DADIMODO runs with (a) SAXS data only, (b) ADR data only, (c) RDC data only, and (d) SAXS, ADR and RDC data. All models are aligned along the D4 domain. The alignment tensors determined from RDCs are represented for each model with the same colour. The principal axis systems are defined using the principal values of the alignment tensors and the convention |Azz| ≥ |Ayy| ≥ |Axx|. The differences between tensor orientations in (a) arise from the fourfold orientational degeneracy of RDCs: (x, y, z) and (x′, y′, z′) can be aligned by 180° rotations along the principal axes. Combining all three types of information brings a noticeable gain, as seen by the remarkable uniformity of the models in (d). |
