Time t0 corresponds to the end of the laser exposure (exposure time 60 s, energy 1.4 GW cm−2, linear polarization, supersaturation = 1.6 at 290 K). Crystallization was observed using a 5× Nikon objective. The red and blue circles show the fall of a crystal coming from the meniscus, which is shown by the shadow. The violet squares show the growth of a crystal; the same behaviour is observed for two different morphologies, shown by red arrows. The scale is given by the yellow lines, which represent 104 µm.
