A plot of the detection efficiency correction parameter assuming all scattering is inelastic (fin = 1) and is distributed in energy as a Maxwellian having temperature T = 300 K. The calculation was performed for each of the two different detectors. The appropriate correction for a smaller fraction of inelastic scattering (fin < 1) is finGD + (1 − fin).
