Block diagram of the process performed by BINoculars for a typical data set from a diffraction experiment. The dispatcher distributes the load over multiple nodes from a computing cluster. The input class gathers the experimental data and calculates the diffractometer angles for each pixel. The projection class converts the angles to (h k l) coordinates. The intensities are binned on a discrete grid by the space class, and finally the intermediate results from each node are combined into a single space.
