The wavelength spread (dashed lines) and `geometry' (solid lines) contributions to the total Q distribution [\sigma_Q^2] (symbols) for some specific experimental configurations at KWS-2; the curves are calculated for λ = 5 Å, LD = 8 m, RE = 16.9 mm, RS = 5.64 mm and for two setups of collimation length (LC = 8 and 20 m) and wavelength spread (Δλ/λ = 20 and 5%). The arrows indicate the Qmin reached for the considered configurations (for LC = 20 m the Qmin values for the two different wavelength spreads are very close to each other – see Table S1).
