Graphical user interface for the OnDA velocity monitor. The screen shows on the left the signal peaks detected on the VMI screen for the latest predetermined number of events. Below the main plot, the degree of alignment of the data along the vertical axis of the VMI screen is reported as values of θ and [\langle \cos^2 \theta \rangle]. Only the data included in a user-defined wedged-shaped area of the screen are used to compute the alignment statistics. Behind the signal peaks, shown as red circles, the user can choose to show the wedge-shaped area, or, like in the above screenshot, the accumulated peak density. On the right side of the screen, the evolution of the [\langle \cos^2 \theta \rangle] alignment statistic over time is shown.
