The on- and off-coincidence spectra for a dual-phase steel sample with a 10 µm Ti foil mounted in front of the CCD; source excitation 7.5 kV, 1.2 mA. The off-coincidence region on the CCD includes part of a diffraction arc that arises from diffraction of Ti Kα radiation by ferrite 200, leading to enhancement of this peak in the off-coincidence spectrum.
