Indexing of lattice directions intersecting a projection plane parallel to (010) for a simulated BKD pattern of monoclinic diopside. The pattern centre PC coincides with the projection of the (010) pole, which in this case is also parallel to [010]. The vertical solid angle is ∼90°.
