The correspondence between the basal and prismatic planes is shown by the similar positions of the red triangles and red squares in (a) and (b). The rotation axis between the parent and the twin is the a axis, marked by the dashed blue circle in (c); the rotation angle is 86°, as shown by the blue line between the two c axes in (b). The habit planes are the {102} planes, marked by the red circles and labelled HPE1 and HPE2 in (d). The lines between the centre of the pole figure and these poles are perpendicular to the traces of the interfaces labelled HPE1 and HPE2 in Fig. 1[link](a).
