The continuous curves are fits to equation (23)[link], which describes the information gain as being limited by the capacity of m′ parallel independent Gaussian channels. The displayed time range in (a) has been shortened to 24 h to focus on experimentally relevant measurement times. Error bars indicate one standard deviation obtained from ten independent simulations.
