The effect of a Qzero shift on the PDF. The (blue) PDF marked with a + was calculated from F(Q) shifted by Δ = 0.005 Å−1 and the (black) PDF marked with a − by Δ = 0.005 Å−1. The difference curves are the differences between the ideal PDF (red) and the respective shifted PDF. The effect of a Q shift on the PDF is a distance-dependent peak shift.
