Schlegel diagram of a facetted cube. This representation of polyhedral topology can help to assign vertex indices in a systematic way, which then facilitates the coding of C and T. The topology array T has elements (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7), (0, 8, 1) etc. The coordinate array C, parameterized on lengths a and b, has elements (a, b, a), (b, a, a), (−b, a, a) etc.
