Scanning 3DXRD experimental setup. The sample coordinate system (subscript ω) is attached to the sample turntable while the laboratory (subscript l) coordinate system is fixed in relation to the sample. The sample is rotated and translated in the ylzl plane across the beam to record diffraction from the full volume [modified from Henningsson et al. (2020BB14)].
