A single-crystal sample of SQABPY-I (cut from a larger plank) mounted in the I19 ELF cell during voltage ramping at room temperature (the sample corresponds to crystal 02, Table 2[link]). The crystal remained yellow up to 1800 V (a), (b). At 1900 V (c), a yellow to red-shifted yellow colour change occurs, which is reversible and repeatable with further voltage off/on (d)–(f).
