An example of small-angle scattering from the RO98 pHt membrane that is used in the desalination of potable water (Pipich et al., 2020BB41). The black circles indicate the calibrated apparent measurement including multiple scattering effects, and the red plus signs represent the data corrected by method 1. The intensities are reduced, but the Guinier scattering at the lowest Q values is preserved. The sample thickness was 300 µm and the transmission was T = 0.113.
