A profile fit to experimental data of iron oxide nanoparticles with diameters of 15.6 nm. Depicted are sections of a measurement over a wider Q range. The whole pattern is shown in supplementary Fig. S3. The fitted curve is a superposition of peak profiles according to equation (9)[link]. Fitting parameters were the particle size D, the APB probability δ, the peak intensities, the peak positions and a linear background. The difference between the data and the fit is shown with a green line.
