Results from wave-optics simulations in the strong-beam condition (a), and in the ϕ-type weak-beam condition from rocking in a positive (b) and negative (c) direction. All simulations are done with the sound waves propagating along the [[\bar{1}]10] direction (β = 144.74°), and using the strain profile shown in Fig. 2[link] translated to the center of the crystal. The intensity is shown with arbitrary units.
