Figure 6
Non-dilute systems of polydisperse spheres from a USAXS data set for LUDOX colloidal silica in a range of dilutions. The intensity curves contain 160–260 points, uniformly distributed between 10−3 and 0.2 Å−1 in logarithmic scale. Our radius parameter ranges between 1 and 102.5 Å, uniformly discretized by 1000 points in logarithmic scale. We use the hard-sphere structure factor, which includes two variables, the effective radius (reff) and the volume fraction (Vf). To handle the non-convexity of the inverse problem, we conduct a brute-force search for their initial guess, considering five effective radii ranging from 100 to 300 Å and seven volume fractions from 1 to 50%. We do not show the inverted w(r) curves here; instead, their Gaussian approximations are given in the legend. |
