Temperature-dependent changes of the crystal position in directions parallel to the sample mount axis, i.e. the zcryo axis (blue); and perpendicular to it, i.e. along the xcryo (red) and ycryo axes (green). Panels (a) and (b) illustrate the cases of ambient-pressure LT experiments with the sample (position indicated by a magenta arrow) mounted on a MiTeGen microloop and of HP/LT experiments with the sample placed inside a T-DAC, respectively. For clarity, the heat and radiation shields of the cryostat have been removed to show the approximate position of the sample.
