The procedure for calculating different SNR values for every pixel using data from the dark field for a multi-stage detector, such as AGIPD. (a) The analysis of the data set of intensity values. (b) The analysis for gain stage indicator values if available. In both, analysis starts by reducing the size of the input data set to frames that present normal overall intensities according to Feature 1 (F1). The non-robust statistics are used as features for each pixel and pixels are compared with each other afterwards. Each mask is generated by analysing features F1 to F5 as explained in Section 3.2[link] and combined as explained in Section 4.4[link].
