Example of a possible X-ray beam geometry with a total of eight nodes, bi, forming a convex hull in 3D space. Photons propagate in the direction of [{\hat{\bf n}}] and are linearly polarized along [{\hat{\boldvarepsilon}}]. The photon intensity inside the beam hull is uniform.
