Vector (pointer) representation of the complex atomic scattering factor f with normal scattering (f0) and real (Δf′) and imaginary (Δfi) parts of anomalous scattering [from Dinnebier et al. (2018BB6)]. Δf′ is assumed to be negative. The phase angle φ changes in the presence of a non-negligible imaginary (Δfi) component of the anomalous scattering.
