An ultra-low-angle diffraction pattern of a demebranated rabbit psoas muscle recorded with an X-ray exposure of only 5 × 109 photons. The fiber axis is along the vertical direction and the well defined reflections correspond to the axial repeat of the sarcomeres of length ≃ 2.3 µm.
