X-ray beam induced changes on the effective structure factor, SM(q), of a concentrated silica particle suspension for two different beam sizes corresponding to (a) SAXS and (b) XPCS configurations. With a larger beam (a), the onset of the irradiation effect occurs at a higher intensity of the incident beam, but in both cases the threshold is at a comparable photon flux value.
