Definition of the angle ϕ and orientation of the (orthogonal) laboratory coordinate system L with respect to the sample coordinate system P. Vectors [{\vec P}_1], [{\vec L}_\phi], [{\vec P}_2] and [{\vec L}_2] are in the plane of the sample surface. Vectors [{\vec P}_3], [{\vec L}_3], [{\vec P}_\phi] and [{\vec L}_1] are coplanar.
