Steps involved in the kinetic analysis of in situ/operando measurements. (a) The data matrix formed by the collected PXRD profiles is processed by PCA, (b) obtaining the PC1 scores. (c) Scores are rescaled to range between 0 and 1 and are plotted as a function of the temperature on the sample. (d) A masterplot is generated to compare experimental data with a set of kinetic models and (e) the reaction order parameter for the chosen model is determined by fitting with experimental data. (f) The Coats & Redfern (1964BB14) plot allows us to determine the activation energy and frequency factor parameters by fitting with experimental data.
