Transmission coefficients of a perfectly aligned interferometer versus the crystal thicknesses. The orange and green lines refer to the output o and h states, respectively, when the crystals have the same thickness. The blue and grey lines refer to the output o and h states, respectively, when the mirror crystals have double thickness. The transmissions in the h output state (top lines) are greater than those in the o one (bottom lines) because of the greater number of individual forward transmissions contributing to them. The parameters used in the calculations are given in Table 1[link].
