(a)–(c) Absolute shift (filled arrows) and splitting (empty arrows) of the 333/511 diffraction line for an austenitic steel. The line position E333/5110 = 64.3 keV for the strain-free lattice corresponds to a diffraction angle 2θ = 16° (cf. Table 1[link]). Diagram (d) shows the absolute shift of the 333 and 511 contributions as a function of sin2ψ according to equation (19)[link] and their relative shift against each other (gray area between the straight lines) according to equation (20)[link]. The calculation was done assuming the Eshelby–Kröner grain interaction model.
