Figure 9
Laboratory reference frame [{\bb X} = \left [ {\hat {\bf x}}, {\hat {\bf y}}, {\hat {\bf z}} \right ]^{\rm T}] with the incident wavevector [{\bf k} = (2\pi/\lambda) {\hat {\bf x}}] along the x axis. 2θd and φd are the detector arm elevation and azimuthal angle, respectively. The pixel of indices m0n0 is the one hit by the direct beam when 2θd = φd = 0. Tilt angles δx, δy and δz are required for a general orientation of the pixel array, as in equation (9)[link] where [{\bb X}_{\rm d}] = [{\bb M}_{\rm d}{\bb X}] = [\left [ {\hat {\bf x}}_{\rm d}, {\hat {\bf y}}_{\rm d}, {\hat {\bf z}}_{\rm d} \right ]^{\rm T}].
