The panels on the left show the S-SAWANA window for both cases. The panels on the right display the results of the corresponding azimuthal integration (folding): at the top of each pair is the 1D profile obtained by applying the spherical angle correction (black) and the corresponding estimated background profile (red); at the bottom of each pair is the resulting profile after subtraction (grey dashed line) compared with the initial one (black). A significant improvement in the visibility of the high-q diffraction peaks is observed.
