The left column shows the intensity distribution generated from azimuthal integration along τ; the right column shows the same data expressed as a symmetrized and normalized ODF with removal of excluded data. Blue dots represent experimental data, while the red line indicates the fitted ODF function. No peak-integration function was used in this case. Excluded data are denoted by red crosses. Data may be excluded either because they fall within a predefined exclusion area (manually delineated based on detector tiling) or because they lie outside the pre-established IQR. The plots are direct screenshots from the ODF Plot option, and the titles summarize fitting parameters, with 〈P2〉 = 0.516, 0.676 and 0.506 for vermiculite, muscovite and kaolinite, respectively.
