The lower panel shows the relative error between the two profiles, together with the standard deviation of the intensity error estimated from Rose-X. (b) Powder diffraction profiles computed with and without bin center correction for a crystalline Pd nanocube (side length 15.1 nm). The correction removes unphysical negative intensities and improves the diffuse background.
