XANES spectra at the O K-edge of Li–air-discharged product with disc-like and particle-like morphology, and standard Li2O2 and Li2CO3. The electronic structure dependence on morphology is shown by the spectroscopic difference. The particle-like discharged product is closer to Li2O2 (Gallant et al., 2013BB5).
