The orientation axis is approximately vertical and the approximate direction of the jet flow is shown by the arrow on the left. Peaks A and B are at ∼4.7 Å and are close to the meridional axis. Peaks C and D are on the equatorial axis and are both to the left of the origin. The `jet streak', i.e. diffraction by the water jet, is the small approximately horizontal streak close to the centre of the pattern.
