Images (d) and (f) show even higher magnifications of the areas indicated in (c) and (e) and highlight the achievable low background-scattering levels around the Bragg reflections at 3.1 Å in the case of lysozyme (d) and 3.6 Å in the case of proteinase K crystals (f).
