Each ground-truth map has been low-pass filtered to match the estimated resolution of the reconstructed maps by multiplying their Fourier transform with the half-map FSC. The result for RED shows high-contrast features that do not correlate well with the ground truth. This issue is significantly alleviated by confidence weighting.
