In (a) the green dots are the Bragg peaks intersecting the sphere S and, thus, contributing to the corresponding CCF at the angle Δ. In (b), the orange rods represent the Bragg rods. They contribute to the corresponding CCF at the angle Δ that is dependent on the radius q of the sphere S.
