The best-fit model for CuII binding proves the dominance of an ATCUN-binding site (from F tests), with a water molecule in the site in N-truncated Aβ4–y peptides. This suggests that the ATCUN site chelates CuII ions into its ring. It also clearly fails to suggest any pleomorphism.
