Room-temperature XANES-EC spectra for Cu:Aβ1–16 at reducing potentials from 0.05 to −0.45 V. The CuI characteristic peak is observed at 8984 eV corresponding to the 1s–4p transition. The pre-edge peak heights are slightly smaller than the reported spectra for reductions by ascorbate (Streltsov et al., 2008BB86).
