The crystal isometry principle states that all atomic types in real periodic crystals can be reconstructed from the geometry of atomic centers given with enough precision, first stated in section 6 of Widdowson et al. (2022BB47) and inspired by Feynman's visual hint in Fig. 4[link], see Figure 1-7 in Feynman et al. (1971BB16).
